No bueno! As soon as i did, it looked so ripe for mass witch. And sure enough, first attack was that and 3*
however. I since went back to your original design. One war was a 78% 2* gowipe. Only time it was hit that war.
the war that just ended had two 1* attacks from their bases 2 and 4. (I was 4 in my clan btw) and finally a 2* from their N1 with near max everything. Also a gowipe. My xbows were lvl 2 for this war now. And interior wall all lvl 9, with a few 10s
i figured i could pull a block or two from a couple stem walls withought really making a difference.
I've never thought of that. It will reduce the xbows' effectiveness and you might not have enough walls... but you could try it and tell me how it goes? I haven't been in war lately 'cos I'm working on heroes at the moment, so might be a while 'til I can do testing.
But yeah, once your stuff is all upgraded, it'll work a lot better. I've been attacked 3 or 4 times in war and still held out to a 1 star - I have max defences and 182/250 walls are level 9.
im thinking of pulling the entire outer ring out, one tile. have you considered that? or would it ruin the xbow affectiveness?
well, it was hit 3 times this war. a 72% 1 star, 78% 2 star, and 100%. all were gowipe, and the 3* was from a th9 with max troops and spells for a 9, and lvl 19 king and lvl 18 queen. so i still have to give the base props. again, my defenses are not max, nor my walls, so i cant expect no 3* with any base. and this one did burn up 3 attacks before they got it.
NP thanks for the base. I will keep you posted. queen is in upgrade now, so not in war, but already since last, i have two teslas upgraded. im interested to see future defences, myself.
Yeah, the hero drawing in the troops has only happened 2 or 3 times out of, say 30 defenses. Most of them end up being taken out by the xbows/teslas.
It's good to know that the base works with a new TH9. It will work a lot better once you have your defenses upgraded, especially teslas and xbows. Would be great if you could keep posting defense overviews with the base. Thanks for the feedback, and good luck!
if you are referring to the higher level placement, yes. im still a ways away from worrying about that. i just got all my new walls that came with th 9, up to lvl 8. but i will do it. hopefully, the hero thing is the exeption, and not common. I still like the base a lot.

I'm glad to hear it went well against hogs. The only time I have been 3 starred is by GoWiPe... he got lucky as well with a hero dragging them in.... That could be a problem. What level defenses and walls do you have?
second attack was 3*. TH9 gowipe. dude hit from top and troops, including pekka and wiz walked right inside the ring. and went straight to teslas and th. I think the queen drew them in, maybe? there were plenty of structures to keep them busy, outside still.
Well as promised. Here is an update on first attack 70% destruction 1 star. I had drag and loons in my CC.
Attacker used 46 max hogs, 20 lvl 6 arch, lvl 10 king, lvl 9 queen. lvl 2 poison and 4 max heals.
All the troops did a walk around, just as designed. Attacker was cautious over double giant bombs, you could tell, but the xbow placement drew both mass groups of hogs right to them. Just as i assume the designer intended. I was pretty impressed.
oh. also, i am a pretty new th 9. most my walls are lvl 8 and most the defenses are that of a max 8, but none weaker except for my new wiz twr and tesla. So i will keep you posted on its success. Also, what kind of attack was it that 3* the base? do you remember?
i like the base. i am going to use it in my first clan war today. I do have a little concern about air d being pretty exposed. but will give it a go.
AGENT BOOF i dont think this was intentional but i found a spot where they can deploy troops in the inner ring. The single blocks by themselves are spread too far. there is a 3x3 tile space between the first and second block in the area between air d and wiz twr. I just moved the end block left, one tile and it fixed the problem.
