Clash of Clans Builder teams up with Galadon!

  • Dec 09, 2014 (33 months ago)

Today Clash of Clans Builder proudly announces that we have finally discovered the secrets of the GEM BOX...OOOooohhh AHhhhahhhh! What's inside the gem boxes you ask? Is it a giant bag of legless puppies? No! It's GALADON! That's right, Clash of Clans Builder and Galadon are teaming up and making magic. The type of magic that resonates with your ears and eyeballs to make pleasure that much more enjoyable. As a formal announcement of our joining efforts, we decided to do an Interview with none other then GALADON's regular guest: Peter17$. We wanted to dig deep into the secrets of his existence. Understand, grasp, get to know Peter17$. This is how it went:

    Neggs interviews Peter17$

Neggs: Hello Peter, how are you feeling this fine afternoon?

Peter17$: Hungry. You promised pizza. Where is it?

Neggs: It's coming. Anyways, some of our readers live underneath rocks. Others have small little mittens they put over their ears for fashion statements. Others gnaw on used tires in the mornings. Among such people, some may actually not know who you are. Perhaps you could elaborate on your fantastical badassery so people could get a better idea of how your sage-like advice could potentially change their lives.

Peter17$: I have no idea what you've just said. I thought this interview was about Clash of Clans. Am I even talking to the right person?

Neggs: Indeed you are! I've modeled my whole life around your videos! Every morning starts off with Oatmeal (maple syrup oatmeal of course), my iPad and of course my gaming room (ie: bathroom). Do you feel that playing Clash of Clans from the bathroom gives you a strategical advantage over your foolish opponents?

Peter17$: Rule 31. Have you not familiarized yourself with the rules? This interview is over.

Neggs: Gah! I didn't realize we were, which is to say that I'm sorry. I mean, that I think that, hey, look, it's a picture of a kitten with the head of an archer queen!

Peter17$: Are you quite all right? You may continue. You... intrigue me.

Neggs: Whew, alright, so as I was saying... how does it feel to have such a weakling like Galadon as your sidekick?

Peter17$: Ah, you mean 'Gallydon'? That's perhaps the first intelligent thing I've heard today. Yes, few realize the TRUE balance of things- Gallydon's 5,000 or so subscribers fawn over him for some reason, but he's simply comic relief. He fills in the gaps when I'm too busy to be bothered. His account has provided me with amusement a time or two, however. His misguided obsession with 'trophies' is entertaining. At this point, I've given up attempting to redirect his energies on the TRUE value in the game- the Gem Box. But it's quite all right, his incompetence only serves to make me look better.

Neggs: Gem boxes are like rewards from the tooth fairy (they are real, I swear it)! You wanna take a look and get rich beyond your wildest dreams! Then again, you never open your gem boxes. How can you possibly resist the urge to break that box open to get those sweet, sweet gems? It's not like anyone else can take them from you. Am I right?

Peter17$: I can see my educational series has failed to take hold on you, as well. But, you've come to the right place, I can see clearly now why you've asked me to do this interview rather than Gallydon. You need guidance- and I'm just the person to provide it, as I have to countless thousands of others.

Neggs: Speaking of which... I've been at Town Hall level 2 for a few weeks now but I'm slowly upgrading and I think I'll see Town Hall level 3 by June. I've been informed that the slow upgrades are due to the largest of the workers (Lou) is having a hard time with his back and the other workers have to help him out. He thinks its a slipped disc but Harry, another worker (also pretty large), says that he probably just pulled something. What advice can you give me to help Lou with his back problems so I can quicken my upgrade times? In addition Frank (a rather portly worker) needs a date for Friday night. Do you know of anyone who's free? By the way, Frank prefers Italian because he likes the carbs.

Peter17$: I only got through about the first sentence of that before I lost interest. Yes, I've beaten the tutorial multiple times- perhaps I need to make a tutorial on how to beat the tutorial for players like yourself. You're on the right track, though- you have all the tools in hand right there at Town Hall 2. Your gem box placement isn't ideal- but that's something you can work towards at later levels. The ideal point to achieve the gem box layout is probably Town Hall 6, so you've plenty of time to prepare. I've made a great deal of progress simply sniping- I destroy other's builders huts in order to slow their progress. Perhaps I've run across your base in the past, and that's why your builders are having issues. I'm sure we can get you back on track, you seem like a good enough fellow- again, you've turned to the correct source for your information- so you're off on the right foot. Poor Gallydon, I mean, look at the chap- he's started all over again and STILL can't seem to get it right.

Neggs: Protecting gem boxes seems to be a primary concern in your base layouts. Do gem boxes have some sort of power to ward off invaders? Or... perhaps they aren't gems at all... perhaps it's Kryptonite and the gems and their random placement in our bases are just Supercell's way of preparing us with the inevitable battle with Superman which will obviously be pretty rough because he has super vision, speed, strength, flight, and all kinds of other stuff and I'm pretty sure our Air Defenses don't have the range to shoot down a Superman in full flight. So I guess what I'm really asking here (which I'm sure you get asked this a lot) is: Can your base withstand an attack from Superman?

Peter17$: Well, you're on the right track. It's not easy to create the PERFECT base, but mine has indeed withstood assaults from all sides and from many kinds of super heroes. Each time, my gem box has remained standing proudly in the center of my base- again and again proving IMPERVIOUS to attacks.

Neggs: Peter, what is your finest quality?

Peter17$: That's a difficult one to pin down- I have so many. Perhaps it's my magnetic personality, or unparalleled skill at Clash of Clans, or my rapier wit. Actually, I think it is how humble I am. Yes. If I had to choose only one, and it is difficult, mind you- I'd go with my humility.

Neggs: That's very true! Your deep humility and awe-inspiring knowledge on every facet of Clash of Clans is clearly what people coming back to Gallydon's channel. That and the verbal thrashings you give him. So why do you think 300,000+ people keep coming back for more? Why is it that so many people lack the fundamental knowledge on how to win Clash of Clans?

Peter17$: It's certainly a difficult task to achieve, no doubt. It took me several months before I was able to beat the game for the first time- and then Supercell immediately released an update, so that the rest of you could continue to play. I'm sure millions are eager to watch my quest to beat the game a second time- and I am more than happy to share my knowledge with the masses.

Neggs: So Peter, a lot of your supplicants have speculated that you share some sort of family tie with Gallydon. Clearly Gallydon is lacking on the aesthetic side of things with his three color mullet and various assortment of masculine aprons (for which I've heard he wears as some sort of fashion statement) and with the intellectual aspects as well since he clearly can't seem to pronounce his own name properly. That being said, there are certainly similarities that cannot be overlooked and it's seemed to cause a bit of uproar on Youtube and the forums. That being said, our readers and your minions would like to know, once and for all, what is your relation to Gallydon?

Peter17$: The thought just struck me- I'm beginning to think 100 rules isn't enough. Time for rule 101- I will not tolerate long interviews. My time is done here.

Peter taught so much *cries*. I learned that the game is all about gem boxes, and you fight for gem boxes, with gem boxes, to honor the mighty gem box! All hail the gem box! Peter should call his gem box the source of life.

Galadon has been one of my favorite YouTube channels for CoC. I have learned so much from him, like how to do a proper GoWiPe and the new QuatroLavaLoonian (which I am so excited to try when I get to TH9).
